Beware of Phishing Scam Using Hands & Voices name and logo!

This scam has been reported to officials. 

Hands & Voices is occasionally impersonated in Facebook groups to promote fake ASL classes, job postings and mobility aid grants for families. The e-mails we know are associated with this scam are helpinghandsandvoices@ gmail.com and putyourkidfirst@ gmail.com.

THIS IS NOT AUTHORIZED BY HANDS & VOICES. 

If you’ve been affected:

1. Report at www.identitytheft.com.
2. Forward any e-mail correspondence to reportphishing@apwg.org. 
3. Contact the admin of the Facebook group and ask that the flyer be removed.
4. Find more resources on Federal Trade Commission website at ftc.gov.

Further, Hands & Voices will never ask you to submit personal information via e-mail or text. Hands & Voices official staff e-mails end in .org and are not gmail addresses.
