About the FL3
Hands & Voices is honored and motivated to lead the Family Leadership in Language & Learning Center (FL3), a national technical resource center funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The goal of the FL3 Center is to increase family engagement and leadership, and strengthen family support in the Early Hearing Detection & Intervention (EHDI) systems of care to enable families to optimize the language, literacy, and social-emotional development of their children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
The work of the FL3 Center is done in partnership with all the very dedicated family leaders, deaf and hard of hearing adult leaders, and EHDI systems of care professionals which includes but not limited to, state/territory EHDI Programs, National Technical Resource Center (NTRC) at the National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management (NCHAM), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND), and Deaf Family-Based Organizations.
